#Love you to love me

I have had a very rocky relationship with both myself as a person and loving another person. One thing that I did learn through this experience is that the saying ”you can’t love someone until you love yourself”’ is true but not an absolute truth. What I mean to say is that, it is better to fall in love with someone else once you have already fallen in love with yourself but in my experience sometimes we need someone else to love us after seeing all our flaws to finally consider yourself worthy of love at all.

About Author

Amity Batra from Chandigarh, the author of this book started writing poems when she was 14. Her works mostly revolve around the topic of fitting into the society and what she experienced when suffering from depression and anxiety.

She completed her early education till 10th from Yadavindra Public School, Mohali after which she transferred to st Soldiers phase 7 while preparing for JEE.

After completing her 12th graduation from St soldiers school in the subjects PCMB, she proceeded to go on to study computer engineering at Thapar University for next 2 years. Around the end of her 4th Semester she decided to drop out & finally follow her passion for literature.

She is now pursuing BA English Hons in Amity University, Punjab.

Peeping Inside is her first book, a collection of her first works.  With two more projects underway.
